Death Of The Author

In 2019, I had a film project that I worked on for school. I was the lead writer and director for this project.

In this story, Alice, the protagonist, suffers both in her dreams and in real life, being silenced and having her words taken away from her until she decided enough was enough. You can view the video here or read the script here.

In this particular project, I wanted to make the dialogue between every character build upon how the audience viewed them.

There is a scene in the middle that I am particularly proud of - two characters talking over each other and yet somehow not listening to each other at the same time. This was made with a single camera and microphone, then dubbed over.

MEMORYloss

I made this with a team comprising of various talented classmates. You can play the game here.

Developed with Unity, Inkle, and Fmod.

I worked on narrative design, systems design, and music/sound design for this project.

One of the more difficult parts in the production of this game was the narrative building in this game.

My main focus was on how to write a "whodunnit" when the player is the one who decides who actually dunnit? Even more importantly, how would I use a system to give the player choices that matter within this story more effectively?

The most important part was actually planning all of these things through a game design document. You can find that here.

Unarmed

I made this for my third year project (GAM300) as main 3D character artist with a group of talented people. A thrilling first-person shooting game about a robot who seeks the truth behind his creation in a dystopian technofuturistic city.

One of the more challenging aspects of this project was the fact I needed to communicate with my fellow designers on how the 3D models should look, as well as having to coordinate on how the animations would work within the custom engine.

However, with enough effort, I eventually managed to polish the enemy models and animations to an acceptable degree.

I also worked on the soundtrack for this game. You can watch the trailer here.

Bubble Thoughts

In Global Game Jam 2025, I had the honor of being lead music and sound designer for Team Purple Light, comprised of my other classmates and a former lecturer. A 2D typing/point and click game where you have to type while managing distractions. You can play the game here.

In this game, I wanted to make a piece of music that was loopable and built on itself while remaining calm and not frantic. As such, the music is layered and loopable.

Analysing: OMORI

For my game analysis project, I used the chance to psychologically analyze a game that I felt had a nuanced view on mental illness. You can see this document here.

OMORI is a deeply psychological game. In this report, I wanted to analyse the mental state of the character, as well as the effect each design decision would (or rather, should) have on the player.
